To a certain extend customs knowledge is universal. Customs procedures are relatively efficient, both in Europe and in the rest of the western world. At least they are designed to facilitate trade as much as possible and to avoid hampering the international flow of goods.

This experience is very useful for companies acting in international trade but also for projects dealing with institutional development in other countries.
Our people are very capable to examine the local situation and to describe and implement feasible improvements.

We were involved in a project for the improvement of customs supervision at the border between Kazachstan and Kyrgizstan, the implementation of a new version of the Harmonized System both for trade and government in Suriname, the design of a port community system for an international port in Croatia and the design of procedures for a new port in Egypt.
